App Developer

Our client an International Educational consultancy with a focus on technology development, would like to recruit an experienced App Developer to join their growing team in Somerset. Opportunity to work from home, spending on average 2 days in the office! They need developers who are ready to work independently and quickly without too much initial training and support from their very busy team. Tasks will include: • Improve, continue development of an existing Android app. • Create and develop an iOS app similar to the Android app. • Create and develop simple computer programs similar to the Android app. Essential skills: • Java • C# • JSON • Android Studio • Visual Studio • Git (GitHub) • Dropbox • Skype • StackOverflow Desirable skills: • Objective-C/Swift • PHP • HTML (HTML5) • Xcode • NFC • Contactless Card Readers Job description: This role will be dedicated to API-based development, using their existing API you will build apps and products for a variety of platforms, ensuring all apps/products are visibly consistent and well designed. Each product needs to be translatable, robust and easy to use. Excellent career progression and salary, longer term there will be opportunities for overseas travel to support our international work if desired
