Infrastructure Support Engineer (SC Cleared ideally or eligible to take) - Permanent - Barrow In Furness Company: A FTSE 100 Consultancy are looking for a Support Engineer to join our onsite team at Barrow-in-Furness This individual will need to obtain SC clearance and so must be willing to undergo security checks if successful and should be keen to progress a career within a technical environment. Full training will be provided and you will be responsible for supporting users and troubleshooting issues with a range of different applications Skills/Experience: You will be well organised, with strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn old and new systems alike and have the ability to communicate well with other support teams and users. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join an experienced support team with long term career progression opportunities. USEFUL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS * Any experience in a technical application support role * Experience of Oracle and/or SQL Server * Experience of Oracle Weblogic, Oracle OSB and Oracle SOA * Experience of Sharepoint Enterprise 2013 * Experience of Unix * Working against tight deadlines/SLAs * General skills with all types of MS Windows Operating systems and IIS. * Experience working with MS Office * Excellent communication and people skills * Knowledge of ITIL processes Candidates MUST be eligible for SC Clearance Salary: Salary for this role is likely to be around £25000 plus benefits, although this may be slightly negotiable Please contact for an immediate consultation.
