Application Support Engineer

Application Support Engineer An organisation in North Tyneside are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join them. The Company are a leading name in the Energy and Utilities Sector and are a leading service across the Private and Public sector in the UK. The Company are looking for an additional Application Support Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support to support the business critical applications. Your role will to identify and action operational problems, work alongside the service desk team to ensure incidents are resolved, take ownership of escalated problems and record repeat incidents to ensure a root cause analysis is undertaken to reduce future problems. The role will starting on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Experience required: - Previous experience providing 2nd and 3rd line support - Demonstrable Application Support experience - Supporting Oracle and SQL databases The Company are looking for someone to join them as soon as possible.
