C#.NET Developer - Wed Development A .NET Developer is required to join an innovative market leader in the field of Finance and Investments to join a Web Development team responsible for building all web based and cross device browser/website applications, and the devices that access them. The team are currently involved in a strategic programme of work to grow the business and improve business efficiency. The role holder will lead others through the change necessary to implement processes and workflows to become a best-in-class web experience team. The Role: .NET Developer As .NET Developer you will be responsible for: + Evaluating business requirements then designing, implementing and configuring Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) solutions + Developing customer journey based web applications using development tools Visual Studio, C#, (url removed), MVC, HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery, AngularJS and Bootstrap + Understanding and implementing security measures, minimum privilege principles and protect data from unwarranted use + Participating in the testing process through test review, analysis and test witnessing + Identifying and fixing performance and accessibility issues with new and existing projects + Consulting with project leads to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives + Identifying opportunities to improve existing user experiences across the organisation + Designing HTML-based prototypes from scratch and using custom-built or third-party frameworks Experience: As .NET Developer you will have experience of: + Degree qualified or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant discipline + Strong experience specialising in Microsoft (url removed) & MVC technology + HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery + WCF or other web services knowledge + SOAP + (url removed) Web Api + Entity Framework / LINQ / SQL + Experience in XML technologies e.g. XML, XPATH and XSLT + Understanding of responsive web design techniques as well as the limitations of the devices and browsers of our users + Cross-browser development & testing + Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
