Front End Developer - Ecommerce

Do you enjoy the challenge of creating visually stunning and user-friendly web pages and interfaces, or finding elegant technical solutions to those throw up by the marketing team? Our client is a traditional company within the financial services industry and is looking to revolutionise and launch into the ecommerce space with the assistance of this role. The Role: ·Working with the internal marketing function and our team of developers to build excellent customer solutions. ·Calculating development quotations from high-level business requirements based on agile or waterfall methodologies. ·Writing high quality code using latest technologies and contributing to regular release cycles. ·Contributing to Quality Assurance by taking part in code reviews, writing unit tests, and resolving defects identified during user acceptance testing. ·Helping to shape the team and processes. Skills & Requirements: ·Advanced knowledge of C# (url removed) and HTML5, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript ·Experience of integrating next generation mobile responsive designs with web based API's and core systems ·Understanding of all stages of the website development projects from UX and UI and progressing to live ·Strong experience of working on high-end websites ·Ability to code web pages from images created by in-house designers and integrate into .Net object models and web services The Company: Working within an industry going through strong period of growth, you will be a core member of a busy marketing team and will be learning all the time, not only from fellow designers and developers, but also from the online marketing team.
