Marketing Automations Campaign Manager, London EC1
Salary c£45,000 p.a. + excellent benefits (see below)

This role will be responsible for generating, running, measuring, reporting and improving upon all email, digital and in-product campaigns and behavior-driven, lifecycle, marketing activities to users across the Mendeley platform.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
• Develop B2C marketing campaign activity plans to drive customer retention, engagement and to achieve Monthly Active User targets.
• Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, on time and within budget.
• Work with key stakeholders to implement campaign activity including: product marketing team and product management.
• Write and edit direct response email copy as required.
• Be responsible for the production and sourcing of all campaign materials, campaign set up and QA.
• Ensure each campaign has clear metrics as agreed with the Product Marketing Manager and the Director of Marketing.
• Support campaign optimization through rapid A/B testing and iteration. Deliver regular reporting of results against metrics, including use of tools such as Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, Tableau and email data reports.
• Carry out post campaign analysis to report KPIs and distribute learning for future campaigns.
• Manage the master plan of activity to ensure that individual campaigns dovetail effectively without duplication or over-exposure whilst still achieving individual campaign objectives.
• Work with the Product Marketing Manager to obtain information to devise, prepare and produce campaign activity and content.
• Ensure all information is accurate and passes through the official sign off process.
• Coordinate campaign activity with internal stakeholders to ensure end-to-end coordination and preparation (ie. customer support, social media response, etc.).
• Input to the annual Strategic Marketing Planning process.
• Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and be responsible for formal sign off process where required.
• Actively partake in the running of the department providing ideas and best practice synonymous with a
• high performance team.
• Be responsible for personal development within the area of marketing and current trends that may support job performance.
• Complete competitor benchmarking for promotional activity and report regularly to key stakeholders.
• Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected
Qualifications
• Good knowledge of HTML and experience of using HTML editors such as DreamWeaver
• Good knowledge of java script an advantage
• Good understanding of relational data and database marketing
• Experience of manipulating large amounts of data including segmentation and A/B testing
• Good understanding of campaign reporting and analysis
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience of working with email automation platforms is a must. Recent working knowledge of Adobe Campaign will be an advantage.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
• 3+ years of campaign management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing - or equivalent certification
