Looking for Java Developers of a high calibre at all levels to join our leading software development client based in central Bristol. These Java Developers will be coming into a hands-on, client-facing role offering the opportunity to be involved in the full software development lifecycle. In return, the suitable Java Developer will receive a salary of somewhere between £40-65K (dependant on experience) plus an excellent benefits package, all within a structured environment where the opportunity to further develop both your skill set and career is endless.

The Java Developer will follow an Agile approach with solid development practices and will need to be a creative and self-motivated problem solver with clear and demonstrable passion for what they do.
You Should Have;
- Proven commercial Java experience, preferably in enterprise-scale applications
- The ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job
- Good technical design skills including OO design principles and design patterns
- A relevant university degree
- Experience with Agile development methods
Nice To Have;
- Knowledge of building scalable server-side applications on the JVM, eg. REST, Spring, SQL/NoSQL, microservices, concurrency and messaging paradigms
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle
- Experience of HTML5 development and JavaScript
