Senior Software Developer

My client, a World Class Contact Centre Service Provider and Software Developer, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Aylesbury based team. The main function of the Senior Software Developer is to develop a detailed knowledge of current Company software and contribute to the design and development of new and existing services. The successful candidate must have the ability to program using multiple threads; have a solid understanding of .NET concurrency issues and the requirements for developing scalable and responsive real time server code, and experience of writing web services. Other essential experience includes database programming and familiarity with using Version Control. Desirable experience includes Javascript/C++, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle and MariaDB. Knowledge of testing methodologies and http protocol would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have good solid experience in all the required areas, whilst cultivating an enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills, with the ability to absorb knowledge quickly. My client has stipulated that only candidates within a 30 minute commuting distance from Aylesbury will be considered for this role. In return for this unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of software development my client is offering a salary between 35-50K, negotiable depending on experience, 20 days holiday, Company Healthcare Scheme and Stock Options
