Job Description: Junior IT Developer PHP / Java script My client is a U.K. based card services and risk management company with over 20 years of experience. Due to continued business growth a vacancy has arisen for a Junior PHP developer. The role will focus primarily on the ongoing design, development and maintenance of bespoke software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting and diverse projects with unparalleled opportunities for professional development. Skills and Experience Required You will have a strong interest in advancing your development skills in business systems, programming using cutting edge technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, MVC, Team Foundation Server 2013 in an agile development environment. You will have knowledge of SQL, have experience in programming without the aid of Wordpress and be able to show examples of websites you have previously worked on. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:- Essential: Educated to degree level in Computer Science, or a similar IT related discipline Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team Desirable; however, training will be provided:- PHP, Java script, JQuery, Html/CSS, Laravel Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft SQL Reporting Services PHP Laravel / Symfony framework Agile Development & Team Foundation Server
