Business Development Executive - North of Bristol
£20-22k Basic Salary + approx £6k OTE
Due to expansion, a fast paced and successful IT Services company are looking for a Business Development Executive to joining the exciting world of IT and cutting edge technology in business. Day to day tasks will include driving meetings and appointments to build on the success the sales team has had so far.
We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual with a desire to build a career in sales. The successful candidate will join the company’s sales academy so that they can grow within the business and develop their skills and progress into more senior positions as they increase their knowledge of the various solutions available. Monthly training in both Sales and Technology will be given to help you move your role forward.
Key Responsibilities to include
Developing an in depth knowledge of the portfolio of products on offer and to confidently speak to clients around various solutions
Upselling from one product to another - including new releases and best of breed
Keep updated on new and emerging technologies fit for your clients - information gathering
Relationship building with all contacts
Uncovering opportunities within a new client base and booking appointments
Progression through sales academy to further your career
Build and develop client base within your patch adding the right business to allow your team to grow
Generation of new opportunities through
High velocity cold calling and targeted activity
Driving attendance to monthly webinars and events
Follow up marketing activity
Business Intelligence
Targeted emails to clients with relevant information
Experience and Qualifications
Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have 1 years sales or recruitment experience
Demonstrate a strong desire to work within IT Sales
To be highly motivated and ambitious
Commercially aware
Background experience OR a strong interest in IT
Strong relationship building skills
