IT Support Engineer, IT Systems Administrator, 3rd Line Engineer, Office 365, VM Ware, Windows Server , Linux, Cisco, Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer, Active Directory, SQL Server, Scripting - 35K
We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to work with VM Ware, Windows Server , and Office 365. The role will involve remote and deskside support, strong communication, and an ability to work across multiple technology environments. Within the next 18 months there will be significant project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in Windows Server , VM Ware, Office 365, and SQL Server.
- Deliver excellent customer service and experience.
- Manage asset inventory of hardware and software.
- Build and deploy server architecture with supporting documentation in line with company standards.
- Provide support during defined maintenance weekends as required.
- Analyse current resourcing usage and future requirements to ensure resources and systems meet IT service targets.
- Monitor performance against contractual service targets and take appropriate action to achieve targets.
- Build strong partnership relationships with customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with VM Ware.
- Experience with Windows Server .
- Comfortable working with Office 365.
- Knowledge of Linux and Cisco networking is desirable.
- Scripting skills such as PowerShell for software releases are desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
