London, Mayfair - Contract up to £600 p/day inside IR35 - AV Engineer - Conferencing/AV Support.
A new role with a global hedge fund in London (Mayfair), looking to hire an AV Engineer on a contract basis. The role sits within the firm's UCC team, supporting voice, video, AV and conferencing solutions across a fast-paced global platform. The key remit includes hands-on support, troubleshooting and maintenance of on-site AV equipment across conference rooms and event spaces, setting up and managing conference room AV systems, delivering Real Time troubleshooting during meetings, and running AV support for live and hybrid events including town halls and webinars.
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience supporting conferencing and audio-visual technologies, strong knowledge of collaboration platforms including WebEx, Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, hands-on experience with room-based conferencing systems (Cisco TelePresence, DTEN) and AV control systems and DSPs such as Crestron, QSC and Shure, and exceptional customer support skills including supporting VIP and C-level stakeholders. AV certifications such as Dante, Q-SYS or CTS are a plus. Working schedule is 5 days p/week onsite (non-negotiable). 6-month initial contract with likely extensions (inside IR35).
