Do you have strong Cisco networking experience and a solid background in complex enterprise infrastructure? This is an opportunity to join a prestigious global law firm undertaking a significant cloud migration programme, where you will be delivering 3rd line operational support across a complex global network environment, sitting within a busy IT infrastructure team and covering both BAU and project-based activity. The role is ideal for someone equally comfortable with hands-on troubleshooting as they are engaging with stakeholders and third-party vendors, and who thrives in a highly regulated, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to, troubleshoot and resolve network issues raised via the ticketing system, providing top-level support across WAN and LAN technologies.

Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring continued availability and reliability across the global estate.

Ensure the network meets required security standards and controls, with a strong focus on Layer 7 technologies.

Work with third-party vendors to identify root cause analysis on support issues.

Support the implementation of new technologies, contributing to both BAU and project initiatives including the ongoing Azure cloud migration programme.

Produce clear support documentation and technical implementation plans.

Key Requirements:

Comprehensive Cisco switching experience, including Nexus 3k and 9k environments.

Strong knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.

In-depth experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewall technologies.

HP Aruba wireless experience, including global deployments.

SD-WAN experience, ideally with HP EdgeConnect devices.

Solid VPN and MPLS network experience.

CCNP, CCIE or equivalent knowledge.

Comfortable working within structured change management processes in a highly regulated environment.

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and ExpressRoute, is advantageous.
