Primary Focus Assist the Senior BDM's in creating a greater customer base and managing an existing customer base across all territories and the revenue stream associated with this, with the primary aim of ensuring all customers are engaged and communicated with. Extremely consultative in the style of sales approach. Ideal candidates must have experience of creating new business opportunities, researching potential target clients whilst conducting the full sales cycle through to close. It would be ideal to have experience handling multiple accounts, dealing with organisations of all sizes and spotting opportunities to upsell software and services. The role Create and implement innovative marketing strategies across channels. Develop new accounts selling business intelligence software, then having the opportunity to manage and develop accounts further. Continually improving processes, customer-facing tools and communications and find ways to increase new business. Increase revenue through customer sales channels. Understand strategic objectives and prioritise and manage internal projects accordingly. Advise on any issues that can impact the performance of the business. As an Business Development Manager you will be tasked with managing your own portfolio of clients. You will manage clients of all sizes from SME through to large corporate organisations and will need to build relationships and work on a solution base sell. The role will involve working closely with clients developing close partnerships and helping their businesses grow by developing and delivering the best solutions possible.
