My client a leading payments solutions provider are seeking to recruit a Technical Architect with experience of writing solutions using Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Machine Learning AI, IOT libraries and platforms. You will bring the below skill set: PURPOSE: Key Responsibilities * Keep up to date on emerging capabilities in this fast growing technologies of Distributed Ledger and AI. Identify where and how new capabilities can be applied. * Partner with their counterpart with then Product team to bring these emerging capabilities to life * Providing expert level technical, analytical advice, and skills in the development of complex emerging technologies and software to support payments model innovation activity * Collaborate with technology providers, internal teams, start-ups and industry experts to bring validated learning back into which will assist in defining opportunity and strategy * Defining the logical and software architecture for proof-of-concept developments, as well as for fully blown Production solutions based on Distributed Ledger, Blockchain, AI, IOT and Machine Learning * Work with strategic partners to create innovative proof-of-concepts. Person Specification * Independent worker who is self-motivated and needs minimal supervision * Open to feedback * Able to deal with ambiguity * Able to work on multiple concurrent activities * Successful under pressure * Naturally curious * Able to work in teams, and with teams which are geographically dispersed * Able to represent very positively to the rest of the market Technical Experience * Significant knowledge and professional experience of Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Machine Learning, AI and IOT solutions is required * Significant professional software development experience * Significant professional experience designing and architecting software solutions * Significant professional experience architecting and writing solutions using Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Machine Learning, AI and IOT libraries and platforms * Commercials experience of the following Ethereum, Hyperledger, Ripple and Corda * Experience and understanding of Agile development process * Comfort with public key cryptography and other encryption methods * Experience working with open source code, including using open source code and publishing it, as well as participating in online forums around the development of open source code.
