Job Description

The Senior App Support Engineer is responsible for Third Line Application Support and providing clients with a consistently high level of quality and timely technical support for queries and issues relating to the company`s products. Responsibilities: - Provide third line technical support to resolve complex faults to clients (internal and external) across a number of products - Investigate issues and identify root possible causes for major incidents and escalated faults - Service restoration for complex faults (technology & solution based) - Maintain hands on production support and provide proactive support and advice on future requirements - Liaise with 1st and 2nd line support, and the development team - Reproduce errors locally or in the client`s test environment - Locate, view and analyse Application and Windows error logs - Use SQL to diagnose data problems Essential: · Windows Server 2003, 2008 & 2012 · SQL Server, ASP.NET, C#, VB, XML, HTML5, CSS, IIS · SQL Scripting / Crystal Reports · Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 · Active Directory 2003 and 2008 · Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2010 ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE FREE TO WORK IN THE UK FREE FROM THE RESTRICTIONS OF VISA'S AND WORK PERMITS.
