Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer - London or Reading (Hybrid) - Up to £100k + bonus - Permanent

We re working with a fast-growing infrastructure and connectivity organisation that is expanding its in-house engineering capability. They re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and assurance of power and cooling systems across a diverse portfolio of projects.

What You ll Be Doing

• Leading the design and assurance of electrical power and cooling systems across multiple projects
• Acting as a technical authority to ensure compliance, buildability, and operational resilience
• Developing cooling and ventilation systems aligned to equipment loads and operational requirements
• Supporting the delivery of technical facilities, including equipment rooms and distributed infrastructure

What We re Looking For

• Experience in electrical design within telecoms, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. wiring regulations, building compliance)
• Understanding of cooling and ventilation systems within technical or equipment environments
• Exposure to telecoms or network infrastructure environments is beneficial
