Senior Maritime Software Developer - Defence Simulation

We are seeking an Security Clared Senior Software Developer to support the development of a high-fidelity simulation and experimentation environment within a secure defence setting.

This is a high-impact role working on advanced modelling, simulation, and experimentation capabilities supporting next-generation operational concepts.

Experinece

• Strong experience in C# and C++ development
• Experience working with simulation environments (eg gaming engines, modelling tools or similar)
• Experience developing or integrating Real Time systems/GUI-based applications
• Knowledge of distributed simulation protocols (eg DIS, DDS or similar)
• Experience with software integration, testing, and life cycle documentation
• Understanding of secure-by-design principles (defence or similar environments)
• Ability to work effectively in secure, agile, multi-disciplinary teams

Desirable Experience

• Experience with geospatial or mapping SDKs
• Exposure to defence, maritime, or highly regulated environments
• Experience scaling or architecting distributed or multi-node systems
• Knowledge of cloud-based development environments
• Experience supporting training, documentation, or capability uplift
