Senior Integrations Engineer

We are working with a leading organisation seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale integrations across critical business systems.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a delivery-focused, Agile environment and wants to influence both technical direction and team standards.

The Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure integrations across enterprise platforms
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams
• Develop and optimise integration workflows, including APIs and data transformations
• Troubleshoot issues across development, QA, and production environments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to delivery planning
• Support production systems and take part in an on-call rota (business hours)
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and standards

What They're Looking For

• Strong experience delivering enterprise integrations
• Solid expertise with APIs (REST/SOAP), authentication, and data transformation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to design scalable, resilient integration solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Key Experience (Highly Desirable)

• Integration platforms (iPaaS or similar)
• Experience with connectors, SDKs, or Middleware tooling
• Exposure to monitoring, error handling, and optimisation of integrations
