CNC Turner Programmer

Essential skills

• Time served apprentice
• Minimum 5 years aerospace experience
• Must be competent at programming/editing NC programs
• Ability to read and follow aerospace protocols and achieve/maintain high levels of quality
• Ability to set and run CNC turning centres
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Proven history of working within a busy sub-contract machine shop environment.
• Self-motivated
• Flexibility
• Ensure all parts produced meet drawing requirements
• Complete check sheets as Quality record
• Complete OEE sheets to aid continuous improvement
• Prevention of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) contamination
• Create/update set up sheets as required
