Cloud Platform Engineer - London - Onsite

Key Responsibilities

You will design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate seamlessly across cloud and on-premises environments. This includes deploying infrastructure and platform services, developing proofs of architecture to validate performance, security, and scalability, and ensuring the overall viability of proposed solutions.

As a subject matter expert, you will guide and support the engineering team, influence technical decisions, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive effective outcomes. You will contribute to solving complex technical challenges both within your immediate team and across broader cross-functional groups.

Technical expectations include advanced proficiency in Google App Engine (GAE), strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, and advanced capability in cloud platform architecture and Google Cloud Storage.

Intermediate proficiency in Terraform is also recommended.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Developing innovative cloud solutions that improve operational efficiency and reliability.

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud services into existing systems.

• Conducting ongoing assessments of cloud architecture to identify optimization opportunities.
