Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (AWS & Azure)

Hybrid: 2 Days on Site in Reading

Perm: £60k (higher for the right candidate)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, development and maintenance of AWS and Azure cloud environments, alongside on-premise infrastructure. The role focuses on improving system performance, security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve existing AWS and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Ensure security best practices and cloud governance are followed.
• Work with IT, development and cyber security teams.
• Monitor systems and recommend performance and cost improvements (FinOps).

Required Skills

• Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Strong cloud infrastructure and deployment experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• PowerShell Scripting
• VMware
• Networking
• Linux administration
• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools
