SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Solutions Developer

An established financial insititution is seeking a SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Solutions Developer to support the continued development of its digital collaboration and document management platforms. This role will sit within a modern Microsoft technology environment and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable solutions across internal systems and collaboration platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal development teams and stakeholders to build secure, efficient and user-focused SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that support document management, workflow automation and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using SharePoint Online and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

• Build custom components, web parts and integrations within Microsoft 365

• Develop and maintain workflow automation using Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps

• Integrate SharePoint solutions with internal systems and APIs

• Support governance, security and data management best practices across collaboration platforms

• Work within an Agile development environment contributing to sprint planning, development and testing

• Collaborate with backend and frontend developers to deliver integrated enterprise solutions

• Assist with the ongoing optimisation and improvement of existing collaboration platforms

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience developing solutions within SharePoint Online environments

• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 development tools and APIs

• Experience with Power Platform technologies (Power Apps and Power Automate)

• Strong understanding of REST API integration

• Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web development practices

• Understanding of secure development and enterprise collaboration environments

Desirable Experience

• Experience with C# and .NET-based services

• Experience integrating Microsoft Azure services

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React

• Experience working in regulated or enterprise technology environments

Working Environment

This role sits within a collaborative Agile development environment and will involve working alongside experienced developers, platform specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver robust, enterprise-grade solutions.

The position offers hybrid working with a combination of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility.
