Regulatory Reporting Analyst

I'm supporting a leading Asset Manager who is looking for a Interim Regulatory Operations Analyst to join their EU Regulatory Ops team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting across EMIR alongside wider process oversight and change initiatives.

Contract: 12 months

Location: London (3 days in office)

Rate: £360 inside IR35 (Umbrella Assignment Rate)

The Role

You'll work autonomously within the Regulatory Ops team and act as a key point of contact for regulatory reporting matters. The role blends regulator reporting, oversight, controls, and process development.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of EMIR and SFTR reporting (trade, valuation, collateral) to the trade repository (DTCC).
• Monitoring, error resolution, and delegated reporting oversight.
• Pairing & matching oversight and KPI production.
• Identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical process improvements.
• Root cause analysis and drafting/maintaining operational procedures.
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert across regulatory change projects and initiatives.

What They're Looking For

• Experience in Middle Office (OTC, ETD, clearing, collateral).
• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting (EMIR)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
