Manchester - 3-4 days office based/1-2 days remote

£55-70k pa

A successful technology company in Manchester are recruiting a Security Engineer to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls. You will also be responsible for the design and implementation of security solutions to mitigate risks.

Your experience should include:

• Firewall and Intrusion Detection system implementation
• Responding to security incidents and events
• Performing security audits
• Maintaining security controls
• SIEM, Crowdstrike and AWS

As part of a small team you will be solely responsible for ensuring the technical team meet security standards and pass security audits as well as protecting company & customer data.
