The Opportunity
You ll be responsible for developing new commercial waste contracts across Derby and the surrounding areas. The business already has strong operational capability, they now need someone who can drive revenue and convert opportunity into long-term partnerships.
You ll have the autonomy to manage your territory, build relationships with decision-makers, and shape your own success.
What You ll Be Doing
Generating and converting new business within the commercial waste sector
Prospecting, booking meetings, and building a strong sales pipeline
Delivering tailored proposals and closing deals
Managing relationships post-sale to maximise retention and upsell opportunities
Representing the business within the local market and at industry events
Consistently hitting and exceeding revenue targets
What They re Looking For
Proven experience in field sales or business development
Background in waste management is ideal, but related sectors such as facilities management, utilities, recycling, or B2B services will be considered
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory
Full UK driving licence
What s On Offer
