Job Description
Power BI Developer Key Responsibilities
Application Lifecycle: Design, develop, and maintain automated reporting jobs and dynamic dashboards based on stakeholder specifications.
Data Connectivity & Accuracy: Manage data connections to ensure seamless synchronization. Perform rigorous data validation to guarantee accuracy in all reports.
Performance & Resiliency: Build resilient, high-availability solutions. Optimize refresh patterns and resource usage to support Green IT and FinOps goals, ensuring dashboards remain stable under load.
Platform & Governance: Support the health of the Power BI ecosystem by managing workspace security, monitoring capacity performance, and enforcing governance standards.
Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with key business stakeholders and technical teams (often in a distributed/spread environment) to review operational performance and refine solutions.
Technical Stack
Core Visualization: Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX.
Infrastructure: Power BI Service (Security/Monitoring), Azure Managed Services.
Nice-to-Haves (Plus):
Experience developing Custom Visuals.
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
Background in Database Design, Data Mining, or Data Analysis.
Certification: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
