The Role
Your responsibilities:
Your Profile
As a Atlassian product expert you will be working closely with the team and working on the development and migration processes. You will guide need to work in managing delivery, adhering to milestones with knowledge of Atlassian products ie Jira and Confluence to migrate from Wealth version of Jira to the Group version of Jira
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scoping data, users and configuration migration
- Evaluate Jira migration requirement - data, configurations, users and workflows
- Prepare pre-migration and execution plan
- Support testing to prove migration outcomes
- Execute migration and validate configuration
- Support post migration activities, troubleshooting and documentation
- Provide training support#
Jira Platform Administration
- Administer and maintain Jira Software and/or Jira Service Management
- Configure and manage projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, schemes, and permissions
- Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability
- Manage user access, roles, and license usage
Process & Governance
- Translate business requirements into standardised Jira configurations
- Enforce best practices, governance, and naming conventions
- Support Agile (Scrum/Kanban), ITSM, and DevOps workflows
- Reduce customisation complexity while enabling flexibility
Automation & Optimisation
- Design and maintain Jira automations to reduce manual effort
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
- Support backlog hygiene, workflow optimisation, and SLA configuration (where applicable)
Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain dashboards, filters, and reports for operational and leadership insights
- Support metrics such as velocity, throughput, SLAs, incident trends, and cycle time
- Enable data-driven decision-making across teams
Integrations & Tooling
- Manage integrations with tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, monitoring/observability platforms, and Service Management systems
- Support data flows for incident, change, and problem management
- Work closely with platform and tool owners to ensure seamless integration
