We are working with a fast scaling, venture backed AI technology company that is transforming how organisations deploy trustworthy artificial intelligence at scale.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing their security posture and long term strategy.

The Opportunity

Reporting into Platform Engineering, you will operate as a senior individual contributor within a high impact team responsible for security, compliance, DevOps and infrastructure.

This role goes beyond operational security. You will help shape and implement forward thinking security strategy, strengthen cloud security architecture, oversee compliance frameworks, and act as a trusted advisor across technical and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security strategies, policies and controls
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation
• Oversee regulatory and compliance frameworks including SOC2, ISO 27001 and GDPR
• Monitor systems and respond to incidents and security events
• Strengthen AWS and GCP cloud security environments
• Support customer and sales teams with security assurance requirements
• Deliver security awareness initiatives across the business

About You

• 6 to 10 years experience within security engineering or related fields
• Strong cloud security expertise across AWS and ideally GCP
• Experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Hands on experience with SIEM, firewalls and vulnerability management tools
• Scripting or coding capability for automation
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Comfortable operating autonomously within a scale up environment
