Role: Software Developer - Scala
Rate: £400 p/d (inc. fees)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Location: Remote
Contract: Initial 3-month engagement, starting ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Back End services using Scala
- Build and enhance Back End APIs
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Support project deliverables and meet sprint objectives
- Contribute to technical discussions and ensure best practices are followed
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Scala
- Experience designing and implementing Back End APIs
- Solid background in TDD
- Must hold Active SC clearance
- Ability to interview and start at short notice
Desirable
- Previous experience working within UK Government or other public-sector environments
