Join us as a Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst withing unsecured lending, you will own and develop the customer journey, identify gaps, and deliver improvements . You will be a hands-on problem solver with curiosity, drive, and the ability to shape rather than follow.

Originally a regulatory-focused position, this role has evolved into one centred on customer journey development including understanding, designing, and improving end-to-end customer experiences.

The focus is shifting away from documentation and regulatory admin work (e.g., RAID logs) and toward proactive journey improvement and customer impact.

What you'll do:

  • Map and analyse customer journeys to identify pain points.
  • Design and deliver improved journeys and solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate across teams (Lending, Regulatory Affairs, Fraud, Wealth) to align journeys with evolving regulations (notably the Consumer Credit Act 1974 Reform).
  • Support early-stage regulatory consultation and help shape implementation.
  • Engage stakeholders and set up governance and process mapping.

The skills you'll need:

  • Background in Financial Services, ideally in Retail Banking or Lending.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and ability to translate insights into action.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset, able to challenge and influence, not just execute.
  • Experience with FCA/GDPR or regulatory programmes desirable but not essential.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid waterfall/agile
