Hybrid: 3 days per week to Central London Office (SW1)

An award-winning creative digital agency, known for delivering beautifully crafted, strategically led digital experiences for global brands, is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to join their team on a fixed-term basis. This agency blends creativity, technology, and storytelling to create standout digital products - and you'll be at the heart of making that happen.

As the Tech Lead, you'll steer technical delivery across multiple digital projects, working closely with designers, producers, and strategists to ensure technical excellence from concept to deployment. You'll be fully hands-on, guiding both Front End and Back End developers while still contributing actively to the codebase.

You'll act as the technical authority on each project, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and quality - and helping non-technical stakeholders understand the complexities behind their ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple digital projects, ensuring robust architecture, scalability, and performance
• Be hands-on within the codebase - comfortable diving into details and troubleshooting complex problems
• Collaborate closely with creative and non-technical teams, translating ideas into viable, efficient technical solutions
• Champion and enforce quality assurance, coding standards, and technical best practices
• Manage and mentor developers across Front End and Back End disciplines
• Oversee day-to-day resourcing for the technical team
• Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and ways of working within a modern digital agency environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading technical delivery within a digital agency
• Strong background in C# .NET Core development
• Experience with SSG/SPA Front End stacks (Astro, SolidJS, or similar)
• Demonstrable hands-on development expertise across diverse web technologies
• Ability to explain complexity clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of technical planning, workflow, and project management (incl. JIRA)
• A team-first leader who can motivate, mentor, and manage both FE and BE developers
• Someone comfortable jumping into new technology and learning fast
