The Solution Architect will play a critical role in supporting a Credit programme that involves the implementation of a new Credit product called Investment Back Lending. This position demands a professional capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, specifically underpinned by a new strategic technology platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and own the target-state architecture for the Credit platform.

• Develop solution blueprints that align with business and compliance requirements.

• Ensure ongoing architectural governance and alignment with enterprise standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders including credit business leads and technology teams.

• Define integration approaches with surrounding systems.

• Act as the architectural design authority supporting delivery and sprint planning.

• Engage with vendor teams to assess platform capabilities and roadmap implications.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in solution architecture, particularly within financial services.

• Strong understanding of application, data, and integration design.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, GDPR).

• Ability to convert technical complexities into business-friendly insights.

• Proven track record in architectural governance and design authority roles.
