PRIVATE CREDIT OPERATIONS ANALYST

What you'll do:
As a Private Credit Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational backbone of the private credit business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve processing complex financial transactions across multiple asset classes while ensuring accuracy in reconciliations. You will coordinate deal fundings for both new investments and existing portfolios, working closely with various teams to guarantee seamless execution. Oversight of fund administrators will be central to your remit as you monitor their performance against established benchmarks. Data governance will be another key focus area; you will help maintain robust controls that safeguard data integrity. Responding efficiently to stakeholder queries will showcase your commitment to dependable service delivery. Additionally, your involvement in operational improvement projects will allow you to contribute meaningfully to the firm's ongoing success. - Process bond, derivative, equity, and loan-related activities such as rollovers, paydowns, interest receipts, restructures, and payment-in-kind transactions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Initiate payments and investigate any discrepancies or delays to ensure smooth financial operations across all asset classes.
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations at both asset and fund levels, maintaining accuracy and integrity in all records.
- Coordinate funding for new and existing private deals by monitoring pipelines and collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Oversee fund administrators' performance based on service level agreements by maintaining open communication channels and ensuring accountability.
- Ensure data governance by establishing documented processes, procedures, and controls that uphold the highest standards of data quality.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc queries from internal or external stakeholders, demonstrating reliability and commitment to excellent service.
- Contribute actively to change initiatives and operational improvement projects that enhance efficiency across the business.
- Collaborate with colleagues throughout the organisation to promote teamwork, share insights, and support communal goals.
- Maintain effective relationships with third parties by communicating clearly and professionally at all times.
What you bring:
To excel as a Private Credit Operations Analyst, your background should include at least two years' experience servicing loan asset classes or performing cash reconciliations across multiple asset types. Your interpersonal skills will be essential for building trust-based relationships both internally and externally. A keen eye for detail paired with strong organisational abilities will help you manage complex workflows effectively. Familiarity with industry-standard systems like WSO or Sentry will enable you to hit the ground running. Your capacity for clear communication-both written and verbal-will ensure smooth collaboration across teams. An understanding of risk management practices is crucial for maintaining operational integrity.
