Position

University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Energy Development. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world leading faculty ranked in the world for Built Environment studies and in the UK for its research environment.

This is a part time role (0.2 FTE) available until 31 August 2024 in the first instance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the dissertation module, facilitating knowledge transfer and promoting new ideas in specialist areas for the built environment and energy.
  • Set and mark student dissertation assignments.
  • Administer dissertation related tasks, including record keeping, providing student feedback, and other related administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • PhD holder or candidate in the final year of a PhD with a topic related to energy and development.
  • Experience developing interdisciplinary outputs/research that can be incorporated into teaching.
  • Experience in both research and practice within international settings.
