Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Communications Architect with deep expertise across Intelligent Automation Platforms, Data & AI solutions, and Telecom OSS architecture & design. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of relevant industry experience, driving strategic architecture, designing scalable communication frameworks, and enabling digital transformation within a modern telecom ecosystem.
This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, architectural design, and domain expertise across OSS, automation, analytics, and AI-driven operational models.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design of solutions leveraging Intelligent Automation Platforms (RPA, low-code/no-code automation, event-driven automation, AI/ML driven automation).
Define architecture patterns for AI-enabled communications, including NLP, GenAI, intelligent routing, and automated decisioning models.
Ensure alignment with telecom standards, OSS reference architectures, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Drive implementation of automation blueprints across OSS operational workflows.
Provide hands-on and strategic input across OSS systems
Review and refine OSS HLDs/LLDs, ensuring best practices and architectural consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network Engineering, Operations, Data Engineering, Automation COE, and Enterprise Architecture.
Engage with business stakeholders to convert operational pain points into architecture-led solutions.
Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise
15+ years of experience in Telecom OSS architecture, design, and solution delivery.
Strong hands-on understanding of Intelligent Automation Platforms (eg, Pega, UiPath, ServiceNow Automation, Automation Anywhere, Camunda, or similar).
Proven experience in AI/ML, data modelling, data lakes, event streaming, and analytics (eg, Kafka, Spark, Python ML stack).
Deep exposure to telecom protocols and domains
Experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
Domain Expertise
End-to-end understanding of telecom network domains: RAN, Transport, Core, Fiber.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and technical articulation skills.
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team collaboration ability.
Ability to operate in complex, multi-vendor, multi-technology environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification in cloud, automation, or AI frameworks (eg, Azure Architect, AWS Solution Architect, AI/ML certifications).
Experience with AIOps platforms and intent-driven operations.
