Overview: A leading insurance intermediary is embarking on a strategic transformation of its placement operations and is seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering this change. This full-time contract position is ideal for someone with strong experience in structured commercial insurance markets and a deep understanding of broking workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Placement Process Transformation
- Collaborate with business and operations teams to define and optimise placement workflows.
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases, including training and post-launch support.
- Improve processes across document creation, order handling, endorsements, and post-placement activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a conduit between broking teams, operational leads, technology partners, and external vendors.
- Lead workshops and interviews to gather and translate business requirements.
Process & Systems Analysis
- Map current and future state workflows using tools like Visio and JIRA.
- Work with broking platforms and CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ensure alignment with internal governance and industry conduct standards.
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain RAID logs and contribute to project documentation.
- Deliver insights and metrics to support continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring: - Proven experience in insurance broking, ideally within structured or regulated markets such as the London insurance ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of placement processes across the full lifecycle.
- Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps, Visio, and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing multiple workstreams.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and operational risk frameworks.
