Straight Forward Recruitment is a specialist, independent recruitment agency with a strong reputation for delivering results-driven recruitment solutions across East Anglia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a high-performing sales professional to drive new business within our industrial division.

This is a pure new-business ( hunter ) role, suited to someone who excels at opening doors, winning new clients, and building a strong portfolio from the ground up. Recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential; we also welcome applications from B2B sales professionals within industrial, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, or similar sectors.


The Role

You will take ownership of new business generation and play a key role in expanding Straight Forward Recruitment s industrial client base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • New business development through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and face-to-face meetings

  • Building, managing, and consistently converting a healthy new-business pipeline

  • Engaging decision-makers and positioning Straight Forward Recruitment as a trusted recruitment partner

  • Contributing to the continued growth of the industrial division

Performance and KPI Expectations

This role is driven by clear, achievable performance measures, including:

  • Consistent monthly acquisition of new client accounts

  • Maintaining strong outbound sales activity levels

  • Building and managing a measurable and sustainable pipeline

  • Meeting agreed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

  • Developing repeat business and long-term client relationships

Full KPI expectations will be clearly defined during onboarding and reviewed regularly.

What We re Looking For

  • Proven success in a target-driven B2B sales role

  • Demonstrable ability to win new clients and close deals

  • Background in recruitment or related B2B sectors such as industrial, logistics, manufacturing, facilities, or engineering

  • Strong commercial awareness and motivation to perform

  • Confidence and resilience when working to targets

  • Professional communication and credibility with senior stakeholders

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
