Microsoft Purview Consultant - Public Sector

We are supporting a regulated UK organisation with the migration and governance of a large operational data estate into Microsoft Purview and are looking for a security cleared Microsoft Purview Consultant to deliver this work. This is a hands-on technical delivery role, focused on implementing, configuring and operating Microsoft Purview at scale. This is not an advisory, strategy or enterprise architecture role.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scripted ingestion and scanning of data assets into Microsoft Purview

• Configure and optimise the Purview Data Map for large-scale environments

• Configure governance artefacts

• Enable and configure Purview reporting for governance, data quality and usage

• Produce clear technical documentation and operational handover playbooks

You will work alongside a Data Governance Business Analyst, who will manage governance definitions and requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

• Active UK Security Clearance

• Proven hands-on Microsoft Purview implementation experience
