Lead Software Developer - React, Node.JS, AWS & Python

This is a newly created position for a Lead Software Developer to take a newly created position with a Northampton based firm paying £75,000 - £85,000 in a hybrid work environment.

This is both a hands-on technical and leadership role, responsible not only for building high-quality, scalable systems but also for implementing and maintaining modern development, coding, and deployment practices across the team.

This Lead Developer role will be ideal for someone looking to move into a Head of Development/Development Manager role and start taking on team management, strategy & road-mapping responsibilities.

To be considered for this position you will need solid hands on development skills with:

• React &/or Node.JS
• JavaScript & HTML
• Python
• AWS, S3 & Lambda
• Redshit or equivalent SQL

As a Lead Full Stack/Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development and deployment of full stack web applications and business tools.

In addition to developing and maintaining scalable cloud based solutions, you will be responsible for development standards, implementing coding practices, version control & code reviews, implementing deployment practices, change management, and mentoring/managing junior developers.

Based on the outskirts of Northampton my client is paying £75,000 - £85,000 + up to 15% bonus. This is a 50/50 split hybrid role, and as my client is on the outskirts of Northampton you will need your own transport to reach their office.
