Security Engineer - App Sec Cloud Sec Cryptography - 1 Day a week in the office

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the organisation's cyber security capabilities throughout a major digital transformation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the installation and commissioning of infrastructure, security tooling, and controls across cyber-led initiatives.

• Acting as a subject matter expert across key areas of cyber security, including Security Architecture, Application Security, Cloud Security and Cryptography.

• Providing hands-on security engineering support to project and delivery teams, ensuring security controls and assurance are Embedded throughout all workstreams.

• Working with third-party suppliers and vendors to coordinate contract security engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and appropriate resource levels.

• Managing penetration testing engagements, overseeing remediation and clearly communicating any risks prior to go-live.

• Contributing to the evolution of security architecture, the secure development life cycle, and application security testing standards.

• Supporting Cyber Operations teams as an escalation point during major incidents, disaster recovery, or business continuity events.

• Collaborating with development teams to ensure applications follow best-practice security testing throughout the SDLC.

• Assisting the CISO with wider cyber security activities as required.

This role is one day a week in the office - Based in Canary Wharf - Market rate salary + good pension and healthcare and a 35 hour working week!
