Senior Data Engineer - Liverpool - Salary £77,000 + BonusThe Company:We're working with a growing technology-led organisation that's investing heavily in its data capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape and delivering solutions that drive real business value.The Role:As Senior Data Engineer, you'll be hands-on across the full data lifecycle from ingestion and modelling through to analytics enablement and optimisation. You'll set technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up, designing and building solutions as much as defining standards.The Skill Requirements:We're looking for candidates with a blend of the following:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with strong background in designing and implementing data solutions in an Agile environment
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala, plus experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tooling and best practices
