They have recently underdone a restructure in the Tech function and have created a new, Software Engineering Manager position to drive best practices and Engineering standards.

About the role:

• Over see a number of multi-discipline squads (20 Engineers in total)
• Drive delivery of software solutions within software engineering squads
• Shape technology strategy, roadmaps and long-term planning.
• Encouraging experimentation and adoption of new technologies, tools and approaches to strengthen the organisation's competitive advantage.

About you:

• Experience managing dynamic engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in software engineering with experience across modern programming languages.
• Experience with agile methodologies and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with information security, compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the organisation and financial services industry.
• Familiarity scaling engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies.
