About the Company

We're working with a fast-growing sports technology company that's transforming the way professional teams and broadcasters use live performance data. Their advanced analytics platform blends machine learning, simulation, and real-time data visualisation to power decision-making and audience engagement across the global sport industry.

Operating in a fully remote environment, the team combines deep sports expertise with cutting-edge software development to deliver high-quality, scalable products used by leading sports organisations.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive Full Stack Developer with strong skills in React, Next.js, and AWS to maintain and enhance a suite of live sports data and analytics applications.

This is a hands-on position offering end-to-end ownership of features across the frontend, backend, and deployment pipelines. You'll work with real-time APIs, WebSocket feeds, and cloud infrastructure to deliver high-performance applications used by major sports clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend multiple React / Next.js web applications
  • Implement new UI components with Tailwind CSS and modern JavaScript
  • Integrate REST APIs and real-time data feeds
  • Debug, refactor, and optimise across frontend and backend systems
  • Manage build pipelines and deployments within AWS
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable and engaging user experiences

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 3+ years' commercial experience in React / Next.js development
  • Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) skills
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time data integration
  • Working knowledge of Node.js or Go
  • Experience managing AWS environments, deployments, and pipelines

Desirable:

  • Experience in sports data, gaming, or live media applications
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, serverless architectures, or video streaming technologies

What's on Offer

  • £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
  • Fully remote working with flexible hours
  • Opportunity to grow into Go development, AWS DevOps, and live data streaming
  • Small, collaborative team where your work directly impacts live products

Next Steps

If you're passionate about React, AWS, and building data-driven web applications that power the future of sports technology, we'd love to hear from you.
