Business Development Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Commission (Uncapped)
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Hours: 8:30 - 5:00
Contract: Permanent
We are currently partnering with a leading name in the refrigerated logistics industry, known for their exceptional service, reliability, and family-oriented culture. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and expanding their footprint within the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK within the refrigerated transport and logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand business needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to promote brand awareness.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry (experience in refrigerated logistics is highly desirable).
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on identifying and converting opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide.
