Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) - Node.js/NestJS and REST API - Authentication (Auth0, Ping Identity)

Contract - 12 months, upto £650/day inside IR35 Hybrid - 3 days officeLeading financial services client is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help shape their cybersecurity in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms (MFA, Passkeys)
• Integrate with identity providers such as Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity
• Develop solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts
• Optimise the efficiency and resilience of cloud services
• Drive continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, and processes

Skills and exprience required:

• Stong AWS cloud expertise (IAM, networking, ECS/EKS, Lambda)
• Strong Node.js/NestJS and REST API development experience
• Cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption
• Experience with web services and microservices-based architectures
