AV Technician is sought by a prestigious global financial services organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-performance environment where technology excellence supports every client interaction, board meeting, and global broadcast.
You'll be part of a professional IT Services team delivering seamless audio-visual experiences for senior stakeholders and clients. This is a hands-on, front-of-house role that requires technical expertise, composure under pressure, and a commitment to first-class service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and support AV and conferencing systems for meetings, events, and presentations
- Deliver live, white-glove technical support during executive and client sessions
- Ensure all AV spaces and systems are maintained, tested, and fully operational daily
- Support hybrid and in-person meetings across platforms including Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Troubleshoot and maintain AV hardware such as displays, microphones, DSPs, and control systems (Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Q-SYS)
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Events teams to plan and deliver corporate events
- Assist with AV installations, upgrades, and integrations in partnership with engineering teams and vendors
- Maintain accurate AV documentation including room layouts, equipment inventories, and system diagrams
- Provide user guidance and training on AV systems and conferencing technologies
- Offer flexible support for early morning, evening, or offsite events as required
Key Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience in a corporate AV or technical operations environment
- Solid understanding of AV hardware, connectivity, and control systems
- Confident supporting video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve live AV issues efficiently and professionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
- Familiarity with AV cabling standards (HDMI, USB-C, Cat6) and signal flow principles
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to support business-critical events outside standard hours
- AVIXA CTS certification (or working towards) is advantageous
