Job Description

As the SIT Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and reporting of System Integration Testing activities across a complex SAP landscape. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all integrated components meet business requirements and quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, test strategy development, and coordination across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage SIT test plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria for SAP-related requirements.
  • Validate end-to-end business processes across SAP modules and integrated systems.
  • Ensure testing activities are executed on time and meet quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with development, functional, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Provide effort estimates and resource planning inputs to the Test Manager.
  • Drive automation opportunities and contribute to the automation strategy.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Lead defect triage and support root cause analysis.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and backlog grooming.
  • Travel may be required to support programme activities across UK sites.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience leading SIT phases for large-scale SAP programmes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori).
  • Experience with SAP testing tools (e.g., Solution Manager, HP ALM, Worksoft, Tosca).
  • Familiarity with integration testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Interfaces experience: IDocs, XML, FTP/SFTP, APIs/Web Services.
  • Exposure to reporting tools: SAP BI, Tableau, Qlik.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and engineering tools (e.g., Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Technology-based higher education (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems).
  • ISTQB or ISEB Foundation and Advanced certifications.
  • SAP certification (desirable).
