We are currently recruiting for an Agile Development Team Lead to join our client based in Suffolk to lead a team of software developers, including seniors and full stack developers, to deliver high-quality solutions, designed collaboratively with business product owners, to ensure the future growth of physiotherapy & mental health services.

As an Agile Development Team Lead your role involves a blend of technical oversight, people management and project coordination to guide our software development team in delivering high quality solutions.
Responsibilities
As an Agile Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical direction, mentoring and coaching our developers, delegating tasks, ensuring software quality by managing the agile software development lifecycle, and acting as the primary liaison between business users and the development team.
You will:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary resources and training
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Manage multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals

Qualifications: (E= Essential)
Degree or equivalent industry experience in Computer Programming/Science, Information Systems or related subjects (E)
Experience:
Demonstrable experience leading software development teams and managing the agile software development lifecycle (E)
Ability to produce written communications (e.g. training documents, project plans) which are clear and readily understood (E)
Practical experience of project management software for example Jira or Azure Dev Ops (E)
Skills:
Must have very good interpersonal skills and the ability to act efficiently in a highly demand-led environment (E)
Must have the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to promote and provide solutions to business related
problems (E)
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders (E)
Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs (E)
Salary £50,000 per annum
Permanent position working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
Hybrid role working 2-3 days per week from our office location in Suffolk or remote working for a highly experienced candidate
