Job Description

Digital Systems Analyst Location: Knutsford Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

  • We're looking for a Digital Systems Analyst / Functional Analyst who can take ideas and turn them into clear, actionable functional requirements.
  • This role isn't just about gathering requirements-you'll get hands-on in shaping how our digital systems actually work.

What you'll do

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and shape digital and eCommerce needs
  • Map user and customer journeys, showing exactly what happens behind the scenes when someone interacts with the system
  • Write detailed functional specifications and user stories for developers and technical teams
  • Act as the main link between the business and external software partners, keeping projects on track and aligned
  • Support digital projects from start to finish, from concept to delivery
  • Help drive innovation, making sure systems evolve to meet future eCommerce needs
  • Present technical requirements in a way that's easy to understand for everyone, whether technical or non-technical

What we're looking for

  • Experience in digital systems analysis, functional analysis, or delivering digital projects
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, eCommerce technology, and user journeys
  • Proven ability to write user stories and functional specifications that developers can actually use
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confident stakeholder management
  • Experience working with external software partners to deliver real results
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or CMS systems is a plus
